What got me into making Cigar box guitars

This is the reason I started to make cigar box guitars.

Having Paid good money on eBay for my first cigar box guitar I was more than a little annoyed when after 15 Min's strumming it the box fell off. On taking the guitar apart I found out that the only thing holding the guitar together was blobs of hot glue there was even hot glue in the tuning peg holes being used as a filler. What made this worse for me was the fact that these were being sold from a high street shop Imagine buying one for a very enthusiastic child for Christmas only for it to fall apart within the first hour, Life would be hell. Thinking that I am sure I could make a better job I redesigned and made good the one I had got.
